    I am interested in this:

    http://husky.sourceforge.net/progate.html

    What is it?

    progate is an Email<->Netmail gateway.

    What does it need?

    Operating systems:

    All

    Latest stable version

    None

    Latest development version

    CVS

    Contacting the author

    See the team page.

The CVS link comes back DEAD..

    cvs.physcip.uni-stuttgart.de/cvs2/current/progate-current-latest.tar.gz

    Any one have the TGZ???
    progate-current-latest.tar.gz

google just cyclically points back to that link... :(

No, but my husky source directory has a progate directory.

The README says progate is not supported after the year 2000 but the source is there if you can make use of it. I have never used it myself so I don't know what condition it is in.

Never would have thought to look in that mess... Since it had its own CVS I figured it was totally separated...

Good grief, PASCAL!!!!!!!! OH MY GAWWDDDDWD!!!!!! Something I actually SPEAK!!!!!!

Plounk!!! Yes that sound you heard was me falling out of my chair!

Well maybe if I find time I can find a way to make it Y2K compliant...but its way down the list right now....

Surely there is some sort of at a minimum netmail <-> email gate that doesn't require INN, and could possibly use ssmtp versus exim etc....

Well that's a good thing. Progate could use a maintainer as far as I know so if you'd like to and can do that.. :)
